Bah Humbug

So I have noticed that its been awhile since I posted, I'm not really a writer, sorry, Princess and James.
Having said that now on to my rant.....
As we are all aware Christmas is just around the corner. Now I did all my shopping in the first week of November so I wouldn't have to deal with people. I'm smart that way. My Dad on the other hand not so smart.
My Dad had asked me today to go to the mall and buy my Mom a gift. I at first thought he was joking, cause who would want to torture me like this. Yeah my Dad who left shopping to the last minute, and now has to go out of town.
My Mom wants a cardigan( Princess do you remember the trouble I went Thur to get my Aunt her Cardigan?) So yeah.
Off I go, I went to the same place that I bought my aunt her cardigan. Yeah traffic was backed the fuck up.... It took me 45min just to get my car into the lot... 45 fuckin minutes people. Deep breath. Fine I go into the store try to find the cardigan, and find out that's there is not much of a selection... CRAP, FUCK SHITTY. Another deep breath.
So I choose a white one for my Mom, in a large. I go up to pay and its on sale... $20 cool.

Now I had to go to the Grocery store which is located 3 blocks away. Want to guess how long it took me to get there????
1 fuckin hour to idle 3 blocks.
Yeah today I think has ruined the Christmas feelings for me.

MY Dad owes me big time

I love my Mom but sometimes....

Yesterday I spent the day with my Mom and Aunt. My Mom wanted to hit a few stores, and ever since she lost her eye I have been nominated as the driver.

Now normally I don't mind doing this, I love my Mom, but sometimes I would love to knock her out.

Shocking I know, but my Mom was in one of her moods which consisted of asking me a million questions. I'm sure your asking but bitter server what kind of questions could you poor old Mom ask to illicit such a violent reaction.

Well I will tell you, the questions were about boys and me, or the lack there of...

It starts off with... Have I met anyone yet.
No Mom I have not
Why not? Don't you like boys anymore??? Your not Gay are you???

No Mom I'm not gay...
Then why don't you have a man in your life???

And on and on it went with my Aunt backing her up.

My Mom equates happiness with men, I think.

For the most part I'm happy with my life, and like most people I would love to share it with someone, but so far I haven't found that special someone.

My Mom thinks I'm not trying to meet anyone. I guess shes kinda right cause its not that big a deal to me. If I meet someone cool if I don't cool.

I just wish that my Mom would drop the subject, and accept the fact that I'm O.K with being single.

Plus my dream has always been the crazy cat lady!!!!!

I hate hate hate winter. Everything about it.

I'm not fond of the cold ( we are known to dip below -40 )

I don't like trying to find my car, that's buried under a mountain of snow.

Sometimes I think my car would drive better if I had skates on the tires, speaking of driving, what is up with the drivers who in 6 months forget how to drive on ice????? People really???

Today in Winterpeg, we got our first taste of winter, and let me tell you it was bitter.

5 more months till spring, but who's counting

4. The price of gas ( 95cent a litre)

I want

Open letter to our mayor...

I want a subway, or c-train or LRT. Something that will make getting from A to C easier.
I don't like buses, plus all the cool cities have rapid transit in place, why cant we???

Even though I drive to work, if I had an option like taking the subway, I might consider it.

So Mr Mayor stop talking about rapid buses and start talking trains... thx

Im crazy

SO this weekend I did a crazy thing..... I picked up a stranger!
I know not a good idea with all the crazy things out there, but I couldn't resist.

I looked into her big brown eyes, stroked her golden coat and fell in love... I brought home a dog, well actually a puppy. I'm totally blaming my Mom for this.

I wasn't really ready to welcome a new family member, and I'm starting to think I bit off more then I can chew..

At some point I was going to get a DOG, not a puppy. I have never trained a puppy before and its kinda scaring me.

Also I was going to get a medium sized dog, the puppy I brought home is going to be a big dog. She is a Akita/Shepard mix.. oh boy.

so far the potty training is going O.K, at least I think so. I go out for a smoke once an hour and bring her with me. For the most part she has been going outside.

Sunday Willow, my new puppy, and I had a disagreement about her bone. I tried to take it away, she growled at me, and she bit a chunk out of my hand... OUCH.....

Now all I can think is that my puppy, almost took my hand, what is she going to do when shes full-grown.

Since shes a puppy she is chewing on everything, and I'm afraid for my cats. What will happen if she ever catches on of them?????

I'm hoping that we can work out these issues. If not I will take her back. I have 20 more days to decide if she fits.....

Does anyone have any tips or advice for me????

My week in review

I have had an interesting week, we re-elected Harper as a P.M... Grrrrr, but its another minority government!!!!

I think I caught my new manager at work stealing. I'm hoping this will finally get her fired.

I tested a new car. I really and I mean really liked it, but then I came home crunched some numbers and realized I just cant do it. Sorry princess your still going to have to listen to me whine about wanting a new car.

Finally had my Thanksgiving dinner!!!!! We deep fried the turkey... I know weird right??? But it was actually the juiciest turkey I have ever had, and it didn't taste deep fried. Normally its really dry. I got to meet my Aunts new beau...

Today I'm being a very very lazy girl. I woke up at 10am, took a nap at 1pm, and now I'm surfing on the web, while ignoring my dirty dishes...

Lets hoe next week is more exciting
